About The Guru
A passionate and dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer, she began her artistic journey at the tender age of four, when her innate inclination toward dance was lovingly recognized and nurtured by her mother—her first pillar of support—while her father remained a constant source of encouragement throughout her path.
She received her initial training under the esteemed Kalamandalam Padmalatha and further refined her craft under the guidance of Guru Smt. Krishna Kumari, embracing the rich and intricate nuances of the Thanjavur (Thanjore) style of Bharatanatyam.
Over the years, she has evolved not only as a performer but also as a mentor and choreographer. She has conducted numerous dance workshops, choreographed for various cultural events, and continues to inspire students through her dedication to the art form. During the COVID era, she extended her commitment to the arts by judging online school Kalolsavam events in Kerala and actively supporting the dance community through virtual platforms.

Her artistic journey has been recognized through several honors, including a prestigious felicitation from KKPWA Bangalore for her contributions to arts and culture. She was also a finalist in Mrs. India, reflecting her multifaceted personality and dedication beyond the stage.
Currently based in Germany since 2023, she balances her professional career as a Project Manager in a multinational company in Munich with her deep-rooted passion for Bharatanatyam. As a mother, artist, and professional, she continues to carry forward the legacy of Indian classical dance, sharing its beauty and discipline with the global community.
She believes in being a lifelong learner and aspires to inspire many more through her journey—an intention that led to the birth of Natyasparsham, a space to share, nurture, and celebrate the art of dance.
